They were a quality team. Losing to the Jets and Oakland made them seem worse than they were. But they were a fine team with a vanilla but very effective offense.

reid has clearly learnt his lesson after decades of missed opportunities.
The Chiefs are still in the driver's seat for the championship IMO and sitting pretty no matter what. They have Mahomes locked up for 11 more years beyond this one, so plenty more Super Bowls to be won even if they can't beat BUF without him this year, though I think they will.
