Its actually more effective but they mostly likely studied for single shot. If they did 2 shots you might have a higher efficacy.

I think the same is true with 95%, you can still get infected, and feel like , esp if heavily infected, for a day or more while the immune system, innate and acquired, attacks the virus, but will not progress to serious symptoms.

It sounds to me like vaccinated people could still get infected, have symptoms like some people do after 2nd shot.

J&J type vaccines are good enough for most people and should really accelerate our way to herd immunity. The advantage of its convenience can't be overstated.

It's better efficacy than flu vaccines

And 100% effective in preventing hospitalization and death which is what really matters.
