I've missed the last few wins. Why is Gay closing instead of KJ when KJ had been closing all year? WTF is up with Wombat over White down the stretch too?
KJ has lost all confidence in his jumpshot. The better question tonight is why Vassell didn't close over Gay?

KJ and White the bed tonight. Gay was the right call.
Nope. It should have been Vassell over him.

Dejounte “The Franchise” Murray delivered tonight. Reminiscent of young Kawhi elevating to the next level. It’s a beautiful thing to see. Happy for Dejounte and hope he continues to blossom. Seems like a good man who just wants to be great.

    Here’s to tomorrow!

White was baaad tonight, going with Patty down the stretch was the right call (for once). At that point White wasn’t giving you anything and the offense was sputtering so they needed someone out there capable of knocking down a shot.

14-10 with a -0.3 point differential is misleading imo, though not as bad as the Kings somehow being above 0.500 this far into the season with a -4.5.

I fully expect the Lakers/Clippers/Jazz/Nuggets/Suns to be the top 5 playoff seeds, assuming no catastrophic injuries. That only leaves one spot to avoid the play-in.

To me, the Spurs finishing in that 7-10 group is the most likely possibility.

I don't really believe in the Suns. CP3 is a big factor, but I still don't like them that much. Someone pointed out that the Spurs get the Eastern Conference a lot from now on, which should amount to wins.

White was pretty wretched tonight. Very disappointed. But, yeah, anyone's better than Lyles. Vassell looks like he might be a keeper.
I'm disappointed White's not playing tomorrow. I still prefer his defense over Lonnie's any day of the week, and I am sure he wouldn't play as bad as he did tonight. Sucks that he won't be playing. Great win. Just watched the game. Dejounte was freaking great.

why doesn't Vassell play instead of Rudy? Vassell should be getting more court time. I'd like to see what he can do in crunch time. I think he would excel given the chances.

Vassell cant play PF or C, in which Gay is.

Yeah, I guess that is a fair reason that Gay was out there instead. I think Vassell could spend some minutes at PF, but yeah, Rudy Gay is more suited to fill that spot at this current point in time.

Weird that many people think Vassell can play PF he is 6'5 200 lbs. Keldon is 6'5 220+. Rudy is 6'8 250.

Maybe slightly overperforming, but I chalk the negative differential up to a couple of blowouts. Haven’t had outsized luck in 3 or 10 point games.

Schedule gets easier. 27 games left against the east (over half remaining).

Remember when you didn't believe me during pre-season when I said he has improved his game?
Yeah I think I was still really concerned about wether or not he could be consistent. I'm happy that I was wrong about Murray, he is impressive.

    http://powerrankingsguru.com/nba/str...f-schedule.php

We've had the 7th hardest strength of schedule so far ; we have the weakest strength of schedule remaining (although that is deceptive - it only shows the games scheduled so far, so only the first 1/2 of the season).

The game was fun to watch although it looked like GS missed a lot of threes that should have gone in. I did learn I don't like Curry. Don't get me wrong, he is amazing but if he is not on your team he comes across as an a$$ with his dancing and chewing on the mouthpiece.

I have disliked him for years. He comes across to me as a phony considering when he was in college playing at Davidson he wasn't showboating like he does today. He didn't start acting a fool until Draymond joined up with the Warriors.
