Game Thread: Spurs vs Warriors - Feb 9th 2021 - 7:30PM CT

Because DeRozan doesn't do anything other than keep us in mediocrity. You trade DeRozan and (a) either the young guys take a step forward, or (b) we tank properly. Win/win, tbh.

Without leadership, these young guys aren't leading us to anything but a tank. Giving Murray/Walker/White/Johnson 5 more shots a night isn't going to turn the Spurs around.

You may be in a rush to join the crew of the current Magic/Wizards/Timberwolves/Pistons of the league, but I'm not.

I actually enjoy watching basketball instead of throwing my coin into a fountain and hoping for another Tim Duncan to emerge.

1st) you don't know for sure that if giving them the chance to step up for good (i.e: DeMar is not walking through that door to hold your hands), they won't do it. You just don't. You are just hypothesizing. My hypothesis is that we, most likely, wouldn't be doing too different than what we're doing right now. The difference is that the young guys would be developing at a faster pace in search of a better future.

2) It's funny that mention those teams. You know what they all have in common? Known flawed "stars" that kept them fighting for nothing of relevance for years.
