You would think Vassell would had been the one guarding Rozier.

Pop won't allow this team to go on any meaningful winning streaks. It's just too disrespectful to the opposing teams that are trying to win as well.
Borego is on the other side so Pop likes to bend down and take one for the sake of old friends.

here's the perfect example for all you dumbasses who think Jakob Turtle's offense is not an issue. Everytime one of our players drives, the Hornets defense collapses cause they know none of our starters can shoot the 3. Having a stretch big out there would open up the driving lanes, but this way the paint is clogged.

So basically Aldridge opens up the offense, but turns the defense into while Poeltl does the exact opposite.

Yeah, White, Murray and Vassell should definitely be rotating on him the rest of the night.

Dog effort on defense and nothing was falling for the Spurs.

Gotta hope for a better effort on defense and better shot selection/attacking the rim on offense.

Wish we had the old Pop back, who wasn't afraid to go for the throat, even if it was his long time mentor.

I'll take Poeltl's shortcomings on offense if it means he plays defense like this.

Oh hey, Murray and White come back in and the Spurs cut the lead in half. Strange how that works.

Nice run to start the second. The second unit was anchored by Poeltl defensively earlier in season, hate to think what happens if it’s Aldridge in that role...

let's see how long that lasts when this team can't score a 100 points anymore. The issue is not in particular Poeltl, but does anybody here realize that none of our starters shoots over 33% from 3?

That's not Poeltl's fault though. If LMA plays this team doesn't score 100 points while giving up 130. I've been on the Spurs' poor 3-pt offense/defense all season tbh; it sucks but it is what it is. At least Poeltl playing elite D helps cover their shortcomings.
