well that was a BS OffFoul...
He wasn't good in the first 3 quarters but he really put the team on his shoulders with the game on the line. Credit to him for being able to find a rhythm in a game that looked so off.

Very entertaining game, although the quality was shocking. Great and gutsy win. With Tre's free throw shooting and his form being good you have to hope he'll develop a decent J. Would give him a long NBA career.

He was tough down the stretch though and didn't shy on contact. He needs to be a better defender with better motor. Overall it's a good game
It's more impressive than just that bit of statistical weirdness. +17 Is the highest +/- on the team and they only won by 5; without him, the team was -12 (in 14 minutes). Consider that he was high scorer on the team and was also the most efficient (Points per shot) of those with significant volume of shots. This while going 1 for 7 on threes. He gets that 3 pt shot going... There's a reason the spurs drafted him at 19, over Keldon who was their favorite SF prospect... It was a good quarter and a half. He was a drag on the team for the first two and a half quarters. Just terrible.
This is what happens when you boxscore watch. He sucked donkey balls for two and a half quarters.
Yeah he was bad for the majority of the game. And his body language was even worse. I was watching him when he didn’t get the ball and if one of his teammates missed, was terrible.

He always talks the talk. He needs to be able to affect the game without the ball in his hands, and he’s failed at that to this point.

Haven't been able to post my notes on the second half because of ing power outages, but I do have to say it seems like his "hot spot" is from the middle where he posts up and he can do one of the following: drive to the basket, spin move, or just shoot it over his guy. He needs to start plays from there and not beg for the ball out on the perimeter where he is way too predictable. Hope he realizes this for the next game and we see more Luka posessions from mid-range posting up. Kind of like a LaMarcus Aldridge, if you will.
I like that Luka is showing his big men game. He is getting tougher and stronger, finishing with contacts. The only thing missing is his defense and better motor. I’m sure he’ll get there. But can he be a good shot blocker? He doesn’t really have the longest wingspans.

I liked his answer to the question. I missed the game but read through this thread and you guys pointed out what he said. He definitely has to stop letting stuff get to him when stuff isn’t going his way though. He is going to struggle even really getting minutes in the big leagues if this continues
