How does it feel knowing that the Republican opposition to this was driven purely by the desire to not let the Democrats actually help people?
Their only reason was spite and lust for power.
Yes it shoud.
Of course they aren't
TX is getting about $27B from the Dem's ARP bill, since Dems are confused thinking TX is still part of USA
I have no doubt that the Repugs will divert $Bs from going to the people the money is intended for.
That's the reason Repugs want block grants, so they can steal it.
McCarthy has a Seuss book NOT being discontinued.
Repugs will not grandstand showing the offending pages of books that are being discontinued.

Banking orgs are calling for garnishment of COVID relief funds to be suspended in a standalone bill.
https://www.cnbc.com/2021/03/10/why-1400-stimulus-checks-could-be-garnished-for-unpaid-debts.htmlConsumer and banking trade groups, including the American Bankers Association, sent a letter to Congressional and Senate leaders on Monday calling for the stimulus payments to be exempt from garnishment.
“Otherwise, the families that most need this money — those struggling with debt and whose entire bank accounts may be frozen by garnishment orders — will be not be able to access their funds,” the letter said.
The groups call on Congress to pass a standalone bill to prevent depository ins utions from having to pay creditors who attempt to garnish and freeze bank accounts.
that's better,
or
ALL Republicans voted to deny you this check

Same, and it is.
