OAN it's very telling the level of impact kawhi has vs DDR...with kawhi we were a legit threat vs the "unbeatable" warriors...with DeMar having a very similar team after the trades, we ended up barely making the playoffs one year, and a lottery team the next...trading ddr right now is the best thing we can do for our future...if we keep him, we will end up in the exact same situation...a 35 year old washed up player with an a antiquated game that has a contract that may not be able to bring back value

Teams that are in 7th and 8th will have to have play in games against the 9th and 10th seed. The 7th seed will face the 9th seed and the 8th seed will face the 10th seed. The 7th and 8th seed would have to win only one game in the play in format while the 9th and 10th seed would have to win 2 games.
Currently the Spurs are in 7th and Grizzlies are in 9th which would put the Spurs in a bad situation in a play in scenario since the Grizzlies have owned the Spurs this season. Warriors are also in 10th which is another team the Spurs match up poorly with. Spurs have to get the 6th seed to guarantee a playoff appearance.
