Obviously you're not going to be able to use it to get a system in your cart right now before any of the systems have been released for sale. You'll see that out of stock message every time you refresh until they come into stock. And you need to refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh starting a minute or so before the scheduled drop.So that link takes me here
What will I see when it's actually in stock? Will it be on my cart already?

Reck try what I did next time - download the app, wait til the add to cart button goes live, wait til :09 after the first batch sells out, and just start hitting it until it adds it and check out as fast as you can
9 minutes on any wave or just specifically the first one?
Not entirely sure, i got it 9 minutes after the first wave sold out. i'd say download the app and see if you can snag one, you got 8 mins

I just got 2 of them today, both from Walmart. I got one for me and one for my buddy using his Walmart account. The trick is to use the app. You let the first wave sell out and make sure you don't refresh the page. You want the "add to cart" button to stay on the page. If you refresh once a wave is "sold out" it will go away and be replaced with something that says "this item will be available again in 10 minutes." They do it in waves every 10 minutes to allow them to identify the bots and then return those illegitimately purchased items to the stock pool before they reopen purchasing. This goes on and on the more bots there are. For the Xbox Series X today it only happened 3 times, but for the Ps5 it's still going on right now. As soon as the time it says it will be back in stock hits, wait 3 seconds and then hit add to cart. Make sure you are logged into a walmart account with shipping and payment info already entered. Click through the checkout as fast as you can (you'll need to have the 3 digit code on your card memorized) and BOOM!

when the add to cart button is blue, if you hit it, it will say "this item could not be added it just went out of stock." so instead of refreshing the page or closing the app, just keep an eye on the clock. when it gets to the 9th min, just keep trying to add it until it actually does, and go checkout as quick as you can. thats how i did it
you dont know when it says it will be back in stock per se, but its always 10 min intervals. you can keep a browser open and the app on your phone if you wanna try it that way. but all i did was open the app, wait til the add to cart button was blue, wait til the 9th min, smash the add button until it actually adds in and check out.

I got it 2 days earlier than the initial projection. Eg it said 23 days, got it in 21.
That may only work on first wave. I tried adding to cart on 9th minute without refreshing on last wave and all I got was the couldn't add, out of stock message.

Kinda sucks that Demon's Souls' shelf life will suffer due to the lack of PS5's. This game could have moved consoles, but there are no consoles to move. Now, the online community will wither away before ever reaching its potential.
The game probably has moved a lot of consoles already. More than 6 million PS5 had been sold as of the beginning of the month. About on par with, maybe a little more than PS4 sales in the same window. It's just the demand is ridiculous for PS5. Also, Demon's Souls is a big fish in a small pond right now. Not sure it would be doing better if it was say a fall 2021 game competing with Dying Light 2, Horizon Forbidden West, Resident Evil Village, Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart, etc. Right now anyone buying a PS5 is either getting Miles Morales or Demon's Souls, and a lot of people are probably getting both. Also the PS Plus attach rate is huge right now. Can't imagine Sony is going to be giving away half their PS4 greatest hits collection on PS Plus say a year from now like they are right now, so that PS Plus attach rate is going to plummet.
I have 2 PS5s. Got both about the same time, was only trying to get one lol.
