They had the matchup advantage over Tech inside, but the defense that Beard runs generally mind s a lot of collegiate post players
Oral Roberts up at half. Ohio State will turn it on in the second half though.

Baylor should beat Hartford but they look like .
Grant Hill sounds alarmingly like Clark Kellogg.
Three decades of easy paychecks for him on the way.
Oral Roberts gonna have to get threes consistently from multiple players for this to work.
Dunno if it's overplaying the three or just defensive breakdowns that are giving these open layups at the cup for Oral Roberts.
But with five minutes plus left, sound the possible upset alert.
hopefully he calls a lot more
Everyone seems to be sleeping on Illinois. But I watched it some today and they looked legit, tbh.
This looks like a better Illinois team than in recent years. And the Midwest is a very winnable bracket.
I think they should hope that Houston doesn't make it to the Elite Eight. They're the kind of team that could shoot them out of the building.
That was the most nervous I've been on a free throw in a long time.
And I thought that last shot by Ohio State was gonna be a dagger.
Overtime!
Oral Roberts may regret not getting a shot off their to take the lead to 8 or 9 and push in the dagger.
Actually, might get double OT. Oral Roberts choking at the line.
Oral Roberts needed to protect the three line up by 5. Frankly, just foul even. Now OSU can tie it on a three.
Only that one FT by a guy who hadn't shot a FT all game. We knew that was coming.
I'm all in on the Oral Roberts bandwagon. Their lack of size gonna make any game a challenge though IMO.
Same guy, Washington Jr. missed the shot at the end of regulation for the win and the three in OT to send the game to 2OT.
He's gonna be mad at himself for a long time.
Had I known more about upset potential of Oral Roberts, I don't think I would have had Ohio State making the Elite Eight in my bracket.
He missed two tbh.
Oklahoma State with a clear size and speed advantage; but the composure of this Liberty team is high end.
This is looking to be a good game.
Must've taken my eye off a second FT or something. All in all they were decent from the line though.
Like I said, I think what really let OSU have a chance was not guarding the three line only and/or not fouling late. That allowed the game to be a one possession game despite 2 made FTs.
rofl top tier bantz
Liberty will have lost because they consistently failed to effectively box out on shots.
OSU players weren't getting long rebounds. They were just getting right past defenders when the ball was in the air.
Low hanging fruit, dude.
If Eastern Washington goes for 80 plus, they'll have a good shot at beating Kansas.
