Bogi at $18 Mil allows the Spurs to still go for a max contract (or less) player in the summer, I believe. Maybe they use that for Lauri.
He has a trade kicker. Not going to happen. And he'd be redundant. Another guard? Nope.

Idk, there's too many options, but we all know none will happen.

If DDR stays, we'll probably do S&T in the summer, which is fine.
For me, the most important thing is that LMA, Gay and Lyles are gone.
Hopefully Patty, too. But that's a pipe dream.

And we really need another big, regardless of who leaves.

    I'm just the messenger, man.

Bogi seems big enough to play SF.

I don't think trade kickers are as much of an obstacle as we think they are. Plus, they can be waived by the player.

I heard he wants to go to a contender and play in a big market where he can get those advertising dollars.

Yeah Bogi is perfect. Off screen 78 percentile. Can create his own shot, good passer. Big enough to play the SF spot.

ATL insider turning out to be legit. Just now:

"The Toronto Raptors fined star forward Pascal Siakam $50,000 for directing heated choice words toward head coach Nick Nurse after Sunday’s loss in Cleveland, sources tell The Athletic. The incident occurred while the Raptors were leaving the floor following an 11-point loss on Sunday night against the Cavaliers, Stemming from the frustration amid what is now a nine-game losing streak, Siakam directed a verbal exchange toward Nurse, sources said. Several choice words were issued, according to multiple sources."

    HE GONE
It doesn't help that the Raps lost to the Rckets last night. Nobody likes being the team that snaps the opponent's 20-game losing streak. The Raps were pissed after the game.

Siakam got rewarded with a big deal after being a piece to good teams and once the team fell apart and he was tasked to be “the guy” the perception of him as a player has fallen in Toronto.

Raptors have room under the cap but likely don’t have max room or enough space to make a serious run at Demar if that’s where their head is at.

Would siakam’s guaranteed money left on the deal be enough to make Toronto move him? Does not having enough space to sign back Demar in the offseason give them a reason to pursue a trade right now? Nah. Not gonna happen unfortunately.

It’d be pretty funny to come full circle and essentially end up getting siakam as part of the Kawhi return though and the fit is there.

Trey Lyles is just trying to find PT to salvage his career at this point.

He was very keen on staying here preseason with some of his workout comments from camp. Seemed like there might be room for him to cement himself in the rotation but has fallen apart as of late and regressed greatly.

Maybe if he goes to a tanking team he can play enough to figure things out. I think the ship has sailed though.

He’ll be in China in two years. One more team will give him a chance. He whines too much to stay on the bench.

I was about to ask the same question. Would the Raptors do something like Demar and Lonnie for Pascal? Pascal's value in Toronto is at an all-time low, and I'm sure the fans would be happy to have Demar back. They'd probably want assurances that Demar would resign at a reasonable price, but I think Demar would be willing to do that. They have very little cap space to improve the team right now so a trade is their best bet to course correct.

Seemed off that Eubanks was getting minutes over Lyles. Of course Lyles would want a change of scenery. It does look like he is trying to be a good teammate but obviously it is hard for him. Eubanks has been playing just fine but not sure if he is going to get much better but hopefully he continues to get better.

Lyles needs the Danny Green treatment where he rots in the GLeague for a while. And he still will never be half the player DG was

That would not be good for the Spurs. Already not a hot FA destination.
I'm thinking PATFO has a deal going on if they're letting this leak like so.
