DeMar was fine. This is another example of you guys being hyper critical of the guy. He missed some shots he normally makes, but he got back on track towards the end of the half.

He gets on for not shooting threes but he's an elite playmaker. Like 99th percentile elite. His lack of shooting wouldn't matter if he had better shooters (who can also defend) around him. The biggest reason for the teams regression has been DJ and KJ not sustaining their 3PT shooting from early in the year. Both hesitate to even take the shot.

You need three - point shooting and defense/length around him to really succeed. Or he needs to play a complimentary role on offense and be hidden on defense.

Unfortunately, neither of those situations are feasible on San Antonio and that's why he needs to go.

And when he isn't forcing up bad shots and turning the ball over (like tonight) he's solid offensively, but he's been terrible tonight.

I'm begging to think u have never watched him play before...this is how he has always played .. difference is he didn't have the ball in his hands as much since he had Lowry who was a star point guard himself...he has always put up great regular season numbers vs mediocre and bad teams
