I think the point of the bump was to rebut a Dejounte bump of another thread, as you say, patting himself on the back.

Dejounte has had some good hits, Franz Wagner being one, but his approach is more shotgun than sniper. He throws a lot of spaghetti at the wall, and inevitably some will stick.

also goes to show that you had to go back five years to find a bad take. I’ve always admitted i’m not perfect, this thread being bumped doesn’t contradict anything I’ve said— which is that I have way more good predictions on prospect outcome than bad ones and that i’m not scared to make a bold prediction vs make vanilla ones.
