Good thing we filled our last roster spot with Cam before he became available.... , we might have spent more money and that's never good here...
And off to the Clippers he goes. *prediction*

PATFO should be all over this and I'm pretty sure they not even picking up the phone to call Dieng
Yup that’s the one
OKC telling Big Al to go home. Looking to trade him in the offseason. Still see the Spurs turning to him when all the restricted FA get re-signed.
Your welcome.
Dieng, Dieng, Dieng, Dieng, Dieng!!!!!!!!!!
Dreams do sometimes come true.
Dream bigger
Kawhi can opt out this year...
bro i’m wetttt.
Jrue Holiday extension. Gee, DDR is going to be expensive to keep.
On the bright side, Jrue signing his and DDR not yet signing his is a good sign.
Yeah, absolutely. No way is DDR inking anything with the FO while the team keeps embarrassing themselves like they have. It's my absolute silver lining, and the fact that keeps me watching the games... The more we suck, the major the changes that are to come.
...or so I hope.
OK, general thought on this page. Almost none of this aged well.. The moaning, and ing just harkens back to last summer when many were SURE that they would re-sign Marco and Forbes.
To respond to the quoted post, DeMar would sign in five minutes if they gave him more years. I don’t believe they will.
OKC just waived Justin Jackson. Combo forward #15 overall selection in 2017, has shown some ability to shoot the long ball, and great FT% says that probably isn’t an aberration.
Imo that's not a good sign if we lose Derozan for nothing.
I'm not so attached to the idea that we have to get something back for DeMar. I would be ecstatic if he's just gone, period.
Imo when you lose your or one of your best player for nothing that's a fault. Even more if you finish the season planing like last weeks and miss playoffs.
Yeah, and that's fine. If I was running the organization, I wouldn't give a what others think of how I'm running things and I simply would want to move forward with my plans. DeMar being gone for nothing is the least of my concerns. Just my opinion.
LMA quitting on the team is a blow to this year.
The team struggles when pieces are missing. LMA was not going to provide the effort needed to be a positive contributor in SA anymore. For what it's worth, I don't think DDR has lacked effort the last three years. He's a very good player who is not a premium #1 option given his shortfalls (lack of shooting range/lackluster defense). The Spurs have to acquire the #1 Alpha guy and I'm not sure how that's going to happen given the likely draft assets that will be available. Trading a player plus a pick might work. It's still a crap shoot.
The Mavericks are on top of SA in the standings now (just barely) because they have the #1 option now that the Spurs do not. I don't like their #2-#10 players all that much. They don't really develop their players all that well. The Mavericks tore down the roster for the 2011 NBA champions. The Spurs were the best team in the Western Conference the following 3 years (2011 - 2013 seasons).
Me too but that's not the debate here, it's not what they think about fans opinions. I don't care about that.
Other than that, everybody could have a different opinion that's not a problem but losing derozan for nothing is a one year without developping more some of your young players, plus losing some places at the draft and having nothing in return for your best player.... that's bad imo.
If what we all think about DeMar is true, that he isn't a good enough player to take your team anywhere... Then his value is low. I think it's obvious his value is low. So when you go in with that view, losing DeMar is not bad at all. It's only bad if you think he was a good player in the first place, just IMO. And I don't think anyone here can say with a straight face that he's a player who will change a team's direction....when he can't even do that for the team right now.
Imo he has some value with what he is producing maybe i'm wrong. I'm not on the bandwagon of Demar is a cancer for this team, imo he is one of the reason why the spurs are not losing more.
We"ll see what will happen next summer, still a lot of time.
