tripling down on stupid... smh
That’s not fascism
also, it's awesome
Opening the door criminals to come into the country; and then opening the door for said criminals to leave the country.
What shall we call that? Besides awesome apparently.
Based.
cash bail just means rich criminals get out and poor ones don’t. For the same crime.
if they’re too dangerous for bail, then no bail, period. If they’re not too dangerous for bail, then it shouldn’t be a matter of money buying your way out.
Eliminating cash bail doesn’t mean everybody gets released
This will just open up the door for assholes to no bail whomever they don't like.
Tons of asshole judges and prosecutors. Taking away their incentive to no f*ck over people not gonna be as lofty as you think IMO.
But they could already do that now. Not everybody is granted cash bail
Sure they do it now. They'll now be doing it much more.
They wouldn’t be allowed to under the “no cash bail” rules. It’s determined by the charges. You should learn how this stuff works before yammering on about it.
or just blame commie misinformation![]()
I may have misspoke earlier. But my point is that bail was at least a way out. Now you're taking away motivation from judges/lawyers to grease the system and instead be their full asshole selves.
I haven't read anything on it. I'm just speaking of the conceptual matter at hand.
bail would still be a way out. it just would no longer be based on whether the person can afford it or not
for example, lets say somebody is charge with multiple counts of murder:
current system - denied bail
no cash bail system - denied bail
now for example, somebody is charged with felony grand theft
current system - you are offered bail, but have to have 20k (or some number set by the judge) or else you're stuck in jail pending trial
no cash bail system - bail granted period, you're out pending trial (obviously, the terms of that would mean you cant miss any hearings, etc)
so people who were not going to be offered bail anyway would still not get out. but people who were offered bail now no longer need to have the means to post bail
Like I say, the incentive to not do no cash bail is just greatly increased.
I can't sit here and tell you you're wrong. It's a matter of outlook. I personally don't trust a damn thing the California system does. You'll see sh** go down; I just don't know all what.
A terrible analysis.
Thank you Qhris for confirming this is what's it all about, tbh
Fake outrage from a fake christian.
"Why won't they let me exploit these children?"
underemphasized, the discretion and power of employers.
