The graceful exit was there a couple seasons ago. Move to Team President and coach Team USA. Now everyone knows he’s hanging on for the coaching record while he angerily denies it.

Let's see... 25 years no one did and Spurs were legendary through the draft. Now that Pop is the Crypt Keeper and the Spurs are the Toros, big names going to flock to Pop? No.
I would hope he steps aside completely this offseason realizing it's the best thing for the franchise. The organization has no direction, energy or positivity. It's time. Doubt that will happen though.
he should be fired and the next coach should stop playing Mills and Gay. Also dont give Derozan a new contract. Then tank for the next 3 years. This plan should already be in play, but no, lets get 10th seed and 18th pick that will bring us nothing. This franchise is soon gonna be as re ed as the Kings or Wolves.
The current Spurs remind me of the Kemba Walker Hornets which is a team that will either barely get into the playoffs and get swept or barely miss the playoffs and get a crappy lottery pick that does nothing.

The only thing the next coach should be good at is tanking.
Maybe if the Spurs miss the playoffs this year making it two years in a row Pop will see the light and step down...highly doubt it though.
