Every non-big tonight took at least 4 three-point attempts except DeRozan who didnt' attempt a single one.

The last DeRozan 3pt make was on 3/20. 14 games ago.

Spurs need to lose some games for lottery position. This is a good loss for them. Compe ive games that they lose at the end.

Forms/Beli aren't DePression tbh, and it comes back to doubling down on their decision to send Nephew to Toronto for him. Spurs can offer as much as anyone, and I'm worried they'll do it so they have a name to sell fans; casual fans around SA love DePression. Also need to consider Pop and how much he wants DePression back. We already know the franchise will bend over backwards for whatever he wants.
Writing is on the wall. Spurs aren't extending Dumbar. Anytime Spurs really like somebody, they lock them up early. The fact that they haven't extended him already means they're not that desperate to hold onto him.

Oh, I agree completely (who was it that I was arguing with the other day who was telling me the Spurs would have better attendance if they shipped out all the vets and like, started Luka or something...?). I was just saying, beyond the conjectures that the Spurs will be averse to change and want to retain DeRozan at all costs, there's no real indicator that they are more likely to bring him back. It'll be a second season of missing out on playoffs with the team "built around" him, he'll want to get a big bag for his last contract, and a small-market team in the middle of a global-pandemic-induced financial instability period won't be the place to get it.

...is what I tell myself during these predictable losses. Pop does love his vets after all

Spurs played like the group of inconsistent scrubs that they are. Nothing left but to embrace the treadmill and the incoming 13th pick that goes along with it. If we're lucky, we might draft another role player!

48-63 raps on rebounds. 41 on defensive rebounds/2nd chance pts. That’s why.

The fact that you think Murray had a good game tonight indicates that you're a re . He was easily one of our worst players today. Imagine being so pathetic to stan for a ing role player.
Never said he had a good game only argued he deserves some slack given he has been arguably our most consistent player during a season of inconsistency “Kurgan.” Tell me you have a mullet without actually telling you have a mullet Kurgan

Didn’t get to watch the game, look forward to seeing the grades. No chance we make the playoffs losing games like this

rofl those wanting to tank or fighting to make the playoffs, doesn’t look like we’re getting either. Another year, another non lottery pick with no playoff spots. This team is annoyingly inconsistent

About to pass Golden State in the lottery standings if they can hold their 21 point lead in the second half.

    13th pick here we come.

Maybe stop signing useless vets and prioritizing character/culture over talent

No reason to keep tanking if we just blow another lottery pick, like we did picking Vassell over Haliburton.

Then where's the hope in turning this around if this team can't sign marquee free agents while also drafting ty players? I guess I still have some hope they can draft quality players.

That’s what’s annoying about this team. Same as last year, can’t decide if they want to fight for the playoffs or be in the lottery. They are doing both and it’s making them stuck.
