As far as vaccines go this is an incredibly tough nut to crack because the disease is caused by a protozoan, not a virus or a bacteria. protozoans basically have the same cell types we do, we are both eukaryotic organisms. so their basic bio molecules are a lot more like ours.
I will continue to hope on this one, but from a Basic biological view this one is a difficult foe.
i’m sure this presents all kinds of legal problems on patents.
But if Joe decided to get some prominent Republicans on board and make a big show of pleading to the pharmaceutical companies to help other countries out because it actually helps us in the long run and is important to our national interest I bet we could get this done.

I love that magazine. I was given it as a gift for a couple of years but I just could not get through all the good articles.
I found it extremely difficult because my background in economics is probably not strong enough. but the parts where it just went into foreign policy was really good from a conservative European point of view.
That magazine is what I would call dense slow go reading for me.
