Unlike Russia, we made China what it is today, handing them all our manufacturing and advanced IP.
It's an arrangement I personally have no problem with (on the economic terms), tbh, but it's pretty hypocritical to turn around and point fingers at the monster we created.
That's why I don't really see China as a foe (nor an ally). It's a convenience marriage if you will. We get cheap from them, they get paid with our funny money treasury dollars.
The bad side of this arrangement is that we cemented a government in China that abuses it's citizens. But we won't address that, because it's inconvenient economically, and that is certainly wrong.

I think it's pretty clear you don't like Fauci. That's a respectable opinion, though in and of itself doesn't make it any different than a different opinion.
What I'm not getting is that he decides anything about funding or the budget for the NIH. After all, NIH funding is wholly dependent on the Department of Health and Human Services budget. You keep asking if I think he did this or that, but I don't read minds. If you have actual evidence he personally asked for or pushed for that funding, then post it.
Considering the email leaks, you would think that would be easy to produce... but, even if, in arguendo, he did push and approve funding, how are you going to prove he knew about COVID at all? This is why it's a specious argument.
