Imo if Trump runs again in 2024 the upside is that he’s unpopular and would definitely lose
Who's running against him for the Dems? IMO, you can't assume it's gonna be Joe. Also, the current shift in voting laws in some States will have an impact.

Kamala is the one exception as someone who's ty enough to lose to Trump in '24...pretty much any other candidate I think beats Trump, especially Old Joe if he runs.

I also think that 3 more years of being out of the spotlight / having no real purpose is going to age Trump physically and mentally. He won't be able to exude the pseudo-masculine presence he had while in office.

I think paradoxically getting him back on twitter before the election would be good. I say its a paradox as he basically used his twitter excellently to talk and take over the GOP during the primaries but people will remember what a nightmare his impulsive Twitter feed bull was during his presidency and be motivated to not have him back.

I don't trust Democrats to make the right call here, tbh... Also, it's going to be difficult to drive turnout if this administration has very little to show. Sure, the handling of COVID has been impeccable, but how much of an impact will that have in 3 years time, especially if there isn't a solid economic recovery?

Trump will either be too fat, dead or in too much legal trouble to run.

I don't disagree with this, but it's a two-way street. Progressives also reap the benefits of ting on the guy that stood in the way of a more progressive agenda.
Well in other states maybe yeah but it didnt help that Swearengen progressive lady who ran for senate twice in WV and on him all the time. Dems should have tried to run that Earl Ray Tomblin guy who was the Dem governor after Manchin even if it pissed off progressives. he probably wouldnt have won but he also definitely wouldnt have lost by 40+ points like swearengen.

If Trump is the guy on the ticket for the GOP, that alone will drive huge Dem turnout imo.

Btw Jim Justice (in WV) is definitely my favorite GOP governor right now , especially because of how much he and Manchin talk about each other.

Regardless, Recky, he'll be President forever just like the 44 before him.

Stick that in your smoke and pipe it.

He'll certainly look back on that to either regret it or somehow be proud when he's in jail, dying or whatever misfortunes falls upon the fat .

I'm going to go on regret. He could have kept on cheating the system fine and dandy as he was. But noooo, he wanted to be president. Enjoy.

We all die, Recky. And if you're waiting for that old man to live in regret, you yourself will grow old, gray, and you will die before that happens. "You'll play gettin' it done."
    - Randolph Scott - "Ride the High Country"

That's what you're trying to accomplish by driving him into and thru the ter. You can't get it/that Presidency back and you know it, what's more he knows it and he knows you know he knows it. He/we got one past you crumb bums. We did!!! We got it!!!!!! We made President!!!!!!!!!

I just think West Virginia is a lost cause. Old Joe lost 30% to 70% in West Virginia. He didn't even win one single county. That seat is going red sooner rather than later, IMO. Manchin has to know this, he barely scraped through in '18.

If Trump comes back, he's gone for sure. This is why it's completely puzzling what game he's playing?

My ass. He had "a plan," swore up and down it was the goods and he'd divulge it after making President. That was 215k dead Americans ago.

Masks, that was it, all of it. Whoop-dee-do. He's lost another 400 Americans today, El.

It only takes a vaccine. I expect darwinism to continue to do it's job on the dumb. Nothing Joe can do about that, and he probably shouldn't, tbh

Unlike Sinema who’s just a knowingly obstructionist , Manchin seems genuinely naive and stupid.

He cooked his own goose when he called us vile names, El, + lied about that $600, then stole it from President Trump (like we wouldn't notice). What the is wrong with this man, El, has he no self respect whatsoever? Let him come clean, apologize to us for lying and stealing. He won't though, he's dug in too deep now, he'll brazen it out with the help of MSM.

He's a creep. And in a way I'm glad. I was half worried he'd turn out to be honorable and good man and I'd be forced to side him for the good of the country. Just the opposite occurred; he the bed before he ever got sworn and has been ting it daily every day since.

    Thank Christ.

Please. He put President Trump thru the same damn song & dance for 4 years that's he's putting Biden thru now. He's an attention hound and a wolf in sheep's clothing. He'd turn completely Left if they wouldn't stage an insurrection in West Virginia if he tried such. And still may do so with the cover of Biden. And Biden would do anything to turn him around once and for all.

I fear they're (Manchin & Biden) are playing possum and have already made their deal, just waiting for the best opportunity to expose it. They'll need to line-up MSM for the kill shot.

I'd still have her sit on my face, ass end first. I like a woman with clear lenses and a slight over bite. I'd sniff her silly.

We'll give El a whack at Manchin.
