I think this is going to end up more serious than you wish it were. We'll get to see, but given how sloppy/stupid/greedy they were when they were running the executive branch, I think the odds that the culture of fraud was pervasive enough for there to be some pretty damning evidence sitting around.

The only thing that will stop their insatiable need for vengeance is their own death, not Trump's death, or, pay-back for him making President when this all got started. He was THE last person they wanted to watch make President, and never believed that it would happen. They were first in disbelief, then mercilessly appalled and finally driven into a maniacal state to see him resisted, driven from office and punished for having the temerity to not only run for President, but to actually make President of the United States. Christ, McCain & Romney each watched in abstract horror Trump winning the prize after they'd been beaten like red-headed step children by a man of color for the same damn job. It drove McCain into an early grave with a brain tumor that I still cannot fathom where it found a foothold in such barren territory. Hussein Obama porked Romney so bad in the money maker that he too ended up with cancer in his ter.
