That might be more in the state or federal bailiwick; the current prosecution in Manhattan certainly doesn't preclude it. No prediction here, I have no idea what will happen.
But the notion that Trump is somehow untouched by the criminal prosecution of the company that he runs and which bears his name is an odd conceit.

And just between you, me and the lamp post, boomster, that was a calculated decision by President Trump a year ago. And I imagine as election day got closer and closer he was conflicted as to whether he should prod (us) by any and all means as the Dems were doing. The Dems, I detest having to admit it were cognizant of the potential that lay before them (giddy with the estimations) with all other means of voting, kept their traps pretty well shut and the rest is history.
Only President Trump knows how close he came to following their tact, their strategy...and knowing and loving him as I do I think he got razor close to relenting, to giving in and following the Dem example, but wouldn't relent at the last, brazening it out,,,hoping for the best.

He wouldn't do it. His last chance was the election...cast aside your pride and urge (us) to mail-in, to follow closely the Dem play book to mirror image their effort in every way shape, manner and form.
