Spending top dollar on mediocre at best FAs while drafting 2nd round talent with your lottery pick. If you don't like that, you don't like Spurs basketball
    LOL mediocre is very generous

I swear to god if Lonnie is some type of trade throw in

Luka - I can somewhat understand since their might be some huge character red flags BTS even though he showed something during his limited time last year....

But giving up on Lonnie when he can potentially give you 15-20ppg without Derozan would be Wright on point

Hopefully we get some contract details soon, tbh. Zollins' deal is a lot better if there is a lot of unguaranteed money in it. I'm also hoping Jock's second year is a team option and not a player option.
At the price we paid Doug and his age I’m hoping at least the third year is a team option/fully non guaranteed as well

Pretty much the consensus. Spurs overpayed for marginal players

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but once a player is signed they can't be traded again until December? So any trades to get down to the number of players must be included in the original agreed upon trade. For example, if they decided to trade Young, they'd have to modify the original trade to a three team trade before putting it in ink. Otherwise, they couldn't trade young (or anyone acquired) for months. Is that right?

grayson allen was traded to the bucks
Great move for them. Grayson is better than Forbes, maybe not in shooter, but bigger, more athletic, just better in other areas. As a cheap role player I like him, even better than McD… thing is he’s a guard, and McD a forward… but overall, I really like that addition for Milawaukee.

Three months from the date when they sign, or December 15, whichever is later.

Now, this is for new contracts. It would for sure apply to Zollins, McDermott, Jock, and Gak Forbes. Trades of old contracts might be subject to other terms, I don't know.

yeah, i like this move as well. grabbing hill and allen may make up for the loss of tucker (who actually had a rather lackluster finals).

Ah yes. Well, Lowry is still shooting close to 40% from 3, over 7 assists, and he’s still playing heavy minutes. Plus ye olde veteran leadership. Hard to replace.

Didn't Demar make similar money? This market overall is insane...and Lowry has bigger avocados. Can actually hit a clutch shot.

Mentioned already but Spurs didn't have to announce all their signings today but odd at least one wasn't. Have to think they are trying to make one more move .

Thad Young getting repackaged right away would probably be smart. He's a good player and a good fit on the Cream Team but I worry his value will tank to zero if the Spurs hold onto him. He's only really good if you let him freelance and spend time at center.

Agree - said the same thing. His value can’t go up on Spurs.

Thaddeus to Portland might be a move a desperate tool like Olshey could do. How many future firsts do they have? Probably wouldn't happen until things with Ben Simmons get settled
