White people are some of the least racist people so that's not saying much. Muslims are very conservative but they aren't going to vote republican.
Airport is closed. Afghans flooding the runway, clinging to airplanes taking off, falling from the sky. The video is ing crazy.
Damn. getting ugly.
The majority of Muslims used to vote republican in this country before 9/11. The republican party alienated them after 9/11 with their hate propaganda against Muslims.
They failed their moral responsibility to defend their country.
to give some idea of the scale of displacement.
the fake version of it that we propped up after we came in and destroyed it
does he bear responsibility for the taliban taking over (the question actually asked)? i dont think so, tbh. was always going to happen upon withdrawal
does he bear responsibility to the cluster that has been the last few days? absolutely

That's exactly right. Remember, Trump wanted to withdraw in May and we stayed even longer and got probably the same result. We could stay another 5 years and what reason is there to believe anything would be different?

So biden is finally going to speak at 3:45 eastern stand time
He will blame trump and take no responsibility like usually
I wonder if any of this Afgan army collape was going on while Trumpler was in office.
President Joe Biden and other top U.S. officials were stunned on Sunday by the pace of the Taliban's nearly complete takeover of Afghanistan, as the planned withdrawal of American forces urgently became a mission to ensure a safe evacuation.
The level of desperation is sad. The imagery of this is going to be way worse than Saigon and perhaps the consequences as well, but support has run out to stay there.
Even most republicans aren't trying to argue for staying indefinitely -- they just claim the would have perhaps withdrawn "differently" which counts for nothing without explaining how things would have actually turned out differently.
