on a thread related note I’m planning on going electric when car craps out. From everything I’ve read Tesla is still top tier pretty easily. It makes sense, it’s all they do and they had a bog head start on everyone else. I imagine in 10 years time others might start to catch up a bit.
The build quality on Teslas are pretty inconsistent, but as far as the tech in the car goes, yeah they’re still way ahead. The Ford Mach E seems the be the only thing really close to being a Tesla challenger, along with the upcoming F150 Lightning. Hyundai seems to be getting close too, but all their EV’s are butt uglyWhy the is Joey so upset about electric cars??

That is the reason why I haven't seriously looked at going electric. Other than a work commuter, I'm not sure I'd trust it for road trips yet.
