Lots of people wanted the American military out of Afghanistan for legitimate reasons, but I didn't realize so many of them wanted the military out so they could enjoy the Taliban celebrations.

You can't be surprised that the Taliban would celebrate our departure, so I can only assume that images like these are being spread by conservatives because they're happy for the Taliban. Sad.

Your side did the same thing when COVID showed up and President Trump had holt of the dirty end of that stick, Adam. Your celebrations over the first 400k was not only expected, but delivered on-the-spot. You counted every-single-one. And it was easy, CNN counted every-single-one for ya's and kept it plastered to their CNN cable channel 24/7.

Clearly they didn't want to leave before the August 31 military departure. Maybe they had valid or even noble reasons for staying until now. Still, we can't keep our military there while 100 people (estimated) weigh their options.
