And the right doesn't want to pay teachers anything that looks like a fair wage and doesn't want to fund schools properly so kids can get a basic, quality education. We should probably get that taken care of first before we install cameras to chase down the liberal boogeyman.

Yes very similar. I want to record public servants that have significant power to damage the citizens of this country. Then we can catch child abusers in the classrooms immediately instead of after many years or never. Classroom cameras will help end mental, physical, and sexual abuse from teachers to children. I'm not sure why you are against helping resolve child abuse. And I'm not sure why benefactor doesn't think this should be a budget priority.
If cameras in the classroom can stop just a single teacher from abusing a single child the investment would be worth every penny.

Well...to be fair, here in California, the Dems haven't restored budgets to Governator days despite all the insane taxes they've been forced on us the last decade. We've got a really, really ty education system here and have plenty of money and teachers are grossly underpaid here, as well.
