whether its abject racism, phobia, or just a general disdain for poor people
"life experience".
One day you'll see why your dad has the outlook he does.

Has nothing to do with his fiscal outlook. You discount his life experiences at his age but think you have plenty, and you're still ting yellow.
has a lot to do with his fiscal outlook, tbh
he was a reaganite at my age. only thing thats changed his he's just more openly bigoted now that he has less of a filter
Why are you a bigoted Trump ?
So because you attended a liberal college you have all this life experience, but the man who raised you is stuck in his youth with his youth beliefs.
It's funny to see younger people play the "wise beyond my years" card because they went to a liberal school where the echo chamber helped them grow their self iden y.

it's funny to see old folks congratulating themselves for their wisdom for merely resembling their parents.
Honoring your mother and father bad now.
"My parents who have lived far longer than me and raised me are not smart. I am smart because I went to a liberal college and I have lots of life experience"
Obviously you're innately ignorant, Winester.
David Gates/"Bread" hits it absolutely dead center...
"Nobody else could ever know
The part of me that can't let go"
the boomer takes in this thread are incredible. It’s almost cut and paste from the memes.
i didnt get swung politically due to academics, really. i studied biochemistry in college, not some stereotype like gender studies. though to be fair one of the first big issues i started becoming more passionate about was climate change, and the anti-science component of the right was a big turn-off. not to mention i was in college from 2009-2014 and still voted romney in 2012, so this notion that college turned me into a bleeding heart liberal is unfounded
i didnt claim i'm wise beyond my years. just that ive had difference life experiences since i was a high schooler who simply adopted all the political views of my dad because thats all i was ever told and spoonfed. worked different jobs. been around different people (went to an armenian private school). been in relationships. you know, things that change the way you view things.

LOL “those stupid young people not respecting their parents, going out and demanding that slavery is abolished! Just proves they don’t have the life experience necessary to understand these things!”
Such re ed logic.
“Jim Crow laws are a good thing! Your parents know better than you, if you had their life experience you’d think the same thing!”
You're a grown ass man with a kid fighting with your fat daddy over tax rates to the point of making your mom and wife uncomfortable
Correct to say you are not wise beyond your years
I didn't say so. Didn't even imply it.
Is resembling your parents the only way to honor them?
100% fine with that based on the cir stances.
we live on different sides of the country. and in the post where i mentioned that, i said we dont get into it that often anymore because i've grown bored of it.
epic burn tho!
Where's all the MSM coverage at on this one?
Lmao SR is what you call a tryhard
Says the guy who believed that Trump was rescuing people at ground zero on 9/11![]()
