DeJounte is All-Star capable if the team wins enough games.

Pretty wild first half but so far it's been impressive. When our team has momentum it's really good and vice versa. As a lot of ppl have thought how it might play out.

    Fun game though so far.

That shot by Murray an odd decision.

Yak with the easy block as McDerms stays on his feet and in front of Sengun. Great way to finish the half.

Yeah exactly my thoughts. It always feels like one plays well while the other sucks a big one.

DJ has supreme confidence right now, the only one with that confidence on this entire team tbh.

What a breath of fresh air that first half was. No washed vets gobbling up the clock with trash offense, players playing with effort on defense, Bryn limited to 5 minutes. I’m looking forward to this season

I mean, stupid posters on Pop, but the Spurs are clearly waaaaaay better coached than the Rox.

Considering where DJ started in his career he seems to have done a 180. He looks like a very competent pg.

He use to be so out of control... Now he's been running a pretty tight ship.

I said it upthread, but if the Spurs are somewhere in the mix, Murray is in the All-Star conversation to me. In a world where Brandon ing Ingram gets a spot on a worse team, Murray should be there if he keeps it up.

Yeah it was kind of odd, but I like that he took responsibility to do that... he obviously needs more work as a closer. I think that possession needed at least one more pass.

I don't know what the Rockets are learning. There's no sets, nothing, they just kind of move around and screen and jack up shots.

i also enjoyed the great effort on defense and the ball/player movement on offense by the squad.

2 things I think that will be issues with our team is giving up a lot of offensive rebounds and having issues with guys getting easier looks in the set offense throughout the regular season though.

The big adjustment it looked like after the 1st quarter going into the 2nd quarter was the spurs collapsing the paint when anyone wearing red touched the ball. Really helped ease the pain of the rebound disparity that spurs were getting killed on in the first.

Ingram is a former Laker tbh, so he gets a lot of pull with the casual fans.

That was a fun half. DJ/DW doing a great job distributing combo guard duties between each another.

He was raw as they get coming out of Washington. Everyone used to make fun of him about instagram baller, this kid works his ass off.

Oh yeah 100 percent. Should he put the numbers and the Spurs are somewhere in playoff contention I have no doubt he gets the selection.

Assuming the D is as good as most think, he could also get a All NBA D nod as well...

He had an opportunity to swing it back over to the top of the key and have that man swing it to the corner or wait reset of the pick, but eh oh well. I agree it is good to see him wanting to be that guy.

Yeah he's been so much more quiet now a days, but I mean he did talk a lot, but he also put in the work. He looks like a legit Star thus far in preseason. Superstar or not having a star in the boat is a good way to start.

White's been getting on despite looking like the best player on the court for most of the game
