Lakers have been terrible their last 3 games. They could have easily been 0-3 and that's with Lebron. Tonight they didn't have Lebron and still won. This is a bad loss. Can't really spin it.
But were fun to watch, learning experience, compe ive etc etc

    They’re down by 5 players .
yup. They're old, down 5 players. without LeBron. On the road. And got the W.

This loss will look worse over time as it becomes clear the Kajers aren't even that good...with LeBron playing.

It's not spin, though. This team just isn't that good but they're playing hard.

Murray was 9 for 24 and that is suppose to be a great game. Yes he did other things but this team is not going to win if he shoots more than 15 shots per game. His shot just is not that good.
He might take fewer shots if Dwhite and Lonnie didn't actually get so scared of the ball.

At least Vassal doesn't have that problem. But White and Walker just take themselves out of a game offensively at times so if they're not going to create then what good is Murray passing up shots going to do?

What over time? We are on a development year. It’s more important to play hard and learn from them. A W would be nice, but that’s why we didn’t sign vets and not go for the empty win. Poeltl is driving hard, Lonnie, Devin playing very well from the bench, Murray learning to lead this team. I like them to win, but I’m equally happy that they’re playing hard.

I'm not even sure if the Lakers without LeBron would make the playoffs in the west

I'll take a silver lining that Walker really showed what we're looking for tonight. Damn that stretch was incredible, he was looking great from 3.

And Poeltl, jeez, what a steal. Was looking like this in shades last season but I think it's something he can reproduce on a consistent basis.

Whole team running for moments and it's an easy assumption guys under 25 will keep personally developing their game and more mins together as a team will improve cohesion so it's safe to be excited about the future of this team.

Murray played fine tbh. Y'all expecting this kid to be a 1st option on a fringe playoff team when he's a poorman's Jrue Holiday at best

He's battling and one of the few guys that has shown any leadership in this organization...
Not even confident this team wins 20 games, much less becomes a fringe playoff team.

I don't think they're a fringe playoff team, just pointing out that there are those on the board that think Murray can lead the team to win 35-40 games.

They won't win that much, they don't have much talent tbh

All in all, pretty damn happy with how the season has started:
-Lonnie and DV showing some pop, just need to be consistent
-Jak is off to a strong start
-Keldon up to this game was showing some new stuff
-The young guys seem to be playing hard for the old man - Pop is one of the worst in-game coaches in the league right now so expecting any more from him is asking for way too much.....
-The old man has managed to even bench Forbes for long stretches which I don't think anybody saw coming

Most importantly, the tank rolls on - would be amazing if this team can luck into a top 5 pick tbh

It's pretty clear this season that the target landing spot is between pops record and a nice pick

This team is playing hard but I wonder how long they can keep it up with these loses adding up. I have also followed the Hornets for years since I live in Charlotte. Prior to getting Melo they have been pretty bad for years but one thing I noticed about them throughout the year was they would always play hard for the first 6-10 games of the regular season and then just give up since they knew even when they tried hard they would lose. It will be interesting to see if the Spurs mail it in with their effort after this stretch.

This was the westbrick noncall. I'd expect him to be reassessed a flagrant or even suspended after NBA review.

And poetle is just as horrific as ever from the free throw line. His 1-5 was hidden by Murray and Vassell going 0-4 late.

It was a great effort and a very entertaining game. Maybe if McDermott didn't get injured Spurs pull it out without KBadD low effort in his stead.

Lonnie got a flagrant foul the other night for doing a similar play to Giannis. Not surprised Russ got away with it since historically when you wear purple and gold the refs allow you to get away with more stuff.

Will be very difficult to win 40 games if they are gonna be bottom 5 in 3 pointers, tbh

He’s done this the past 10 years. Duncan had a 25 point first half in game 6, what happened after that? Popovich is a problem and it’s getting worse.

Nice we need this lead for the Forbes stretch. I assume
Knowing Pop he will sub him in for Lonnie
uh oh, 4th quarter. Time for Forbes and Eubanks to get their minutes and the rest of the game up. Lonnie played too good that quarter. I know popovich is pissed.
both of these posts were made at the end of the 3rd. I don't understand this , but this is his thing. When a player is playing well, he takes him out of the game. When they can't hit , he extends their minutes.. I want this mfer gone before he destroys Primo
