A taller, better Marco but with similar type of attributes and shortcomings. Sounds about right. I’m optimistic, at least that other players will grow around him.
May as well get church threads for everyone now that the roster is set. I actually like how he's been used lately. His activity off the ball gives White, Murray and Poeltl a great target to work on their play-making. He defense isn't great, but that's not a huge problem for a team that isn't a contender. I don't love his contract or the trade that brought him in, but I think he'll be a legit rotation player for the life of his deal. Plus, he makes it so Forbes doesn't have to start to space the floor for the starters.
I have a feeling he's going to be a pretty divisive player for the team, where a bunch of folks harp on every bad thing he does and a lot of other people think of him as a fan favorite. Like Beli without the hand gestures.

Great call out chin. I’m gonna binge watch. This team, like dougie gonna take 20 or so episodes to really get going. I think it’s going to be entertaining and fun by end of season
He actually reminds me of Brent Barry. Great shooter who can dunk. Good teammate, embraces his team role. No wife sadly for TP.
ok with the goods
Like the Marco comparison. He wont put up trash like him. The movement without the ball will be there. Yes, his teammates will appreciate him as an option.
On D thankfully not as undersized.
Hopefully cancelled by the 3rd season.
for the team to justify his signing/existence he's going to have to be among the league leaders in 3 pointers
He has the green light but not like he’s going to get open looks because the defense is pre occupied. There is not one player on this team worthy of a double team.
People are saying he has a knee injury? That would be a shame, because he's been a good addition to the team. He's really helped unlock Poeltl's play-making.
i like his aggressiveness and his willingness to shoot off-balance like marco did. and pop seems to want to make him something of a focal point like the way korver used to be used in ATL. or more specifically, with this team's outside shot being so inconsistent, like Korver's role in Chicago
He’s looked good for the Spurs so far. Hopefully the knee injury isn’t too severe.
Brent was a better athlete and better off the bounce than Doug ever has been. Lol.
Yeah but not by the time we got him. His 96 dunk champion days were long gone by then
true that about the athleticism. Lol
he still was a better ball handler than Doug though.
Does anyone know what kind of injury McD has and how long he is expected to be out?
a sore knee can take a while ... will teach him not to dunk anymore
They said 3 games on the telecast. He’s missed two, so if that was correct, he could return Wednesday.
Thanks. The team is already shooting-challenged and thin at forward.
For what it's worth, I think I recall seeing somewhere they were being extra cautious about it and keeping him out longer than necessary. Some tweet I think.
If he's not making shots could someone tell me again why he is out there?
26 minutes 2 points 5 fouls and traffic cone defense.
Landale 0 minutes.
Short Bus coach again?
pop getting his 42 mil worth from his big fa signing
Pop, always needs 2 of these type of players it was Forbes,Belli , now it's McD and Forbes. I don't understand it other then It's an odd fetish that Pop has
Bad lottery team overpays terrible defending 30 year old
Combined with Forbes?
Such a trash team![]()
