Another near triple-double again for DJM. At this rate, he’ll get AS nod.

Great time to offer him and Young for BSim.
;-)
Good job, DMurry. I doubt alot but he is absolutely putting in the work to get better and he is trying to learn to close games.
We won't be able to tell him anything if his 3pt% holds up.
DJ missed the entire 2018-2019 season with the ACL. This kids is just getting started tbh. Just turned 25 in September, he's going to be an absolute beast at 27/28 years old
Murray is really invested in the off the court stuff now more than any point he’s been a Spur. Seems he’s here for the long run. For the first time, I think he’s truly bought in to the Spurs culture. There had always been some rebellious side before. He’s grown up.
It’s starting to get difficult to let him go at this rate.
Honestly didn't see this level of improvement coming. Handles have gotten so much better.
He’s hitting over 40% in 3 pts shots. His crossover is getting sure shot. If any, he needs to learn to finish with contact and earn FT’s.
On another hand, Devin is fast getting to be the 2nd or 3rd option of this team, like Manu. And could very well close games vs McBuckets, for his defense.
His shots are starting to be smooth flowing without hesitations. Although not ss fluid as Devin’s. Devin’s are becoming to be Kobe-ish without hesitation.
His 3% is really nice. But even if it sucks I like that he is taking 3s now. I said all along that having a 3 ball will really open up his game and it has. If he is making 2 a game then he is going to have a really good season. Sucks though that Westbrick is back west bc he won’t get the all stars nod over him even though he should
winning against a bottom feeder lottery team, nothing to see here, even with some improvements in skillset, we need to see that translated against mediocre to elite teams, not fkn lottery teams
yeah also thought he would want to go to big market teams after some season with the Spurs since he's pretty close to Lebron and i think DJ is part of their company... looks like he's taken on the leadership role on the team.. which makes sense since he's the longest tenured Spur right now
any road win is a good win![]()
It's officially murrays team now
Big three, DJM, Keldon and Devin. And that’s not counting Primo yet.
Why’d Lonnie only log 16 minutes? He was 3-6, was he getting burned real bad on defense or something?
between murray/white/vassell/kj not enough minutes/shots to go around
DJ has arrived fr--future looks very bright between him and Vassell![]()
Vassell has eclipsed Lonnie imo
Actually I’m liking Thad especially his crafty passes, and potentially guarding big PF’s of the league. And yet there’s Landale who also has more complete game than Eubanks, but of course we don’t get to watch. I wonder what’s the plan for Thad? Because obviously they didn’t send Landale to G-League, so he’s supposed to get some minutes after they’ve dealth Thad. How soon? Are they in-works still with Simmons, even as a 3rd team?
As of right now DJ, Poeltl and Vassell look like the guys to build around
