I'm not parsing that, that's legally settled. I'm just describing intentions and actions. Rittenhouse assumed the function of LE unbidden and got himself in a pickle after he shot someone. He lucked out legally, but he's still a killer and a vigilante. If you want to celebrate that, be my guest.

You asked what justification was needed to attack someone who just shot someone. The justification is, they just shot someone, and are still an active threat because they just shot someone. They've showed a disregard for human life so you have to assume that disregard is for you as well.

He was found not guilty in a court of law by a jury. All this "ya but" discussion is mostly people who didn't keep up with the trial and are still leaning on the MSM narrative.

You're told over and over as a CHL carrier that you have zero idea what's going on when you see someone with a gun, or someone who seems to be attacking someone else. Your situational awareness meter is very low, and often you have mere seconds to act if there's an actual issue. You certainly don't chase someone down who has a gun, and they wouldn't have either if they were solo. It was a mob, plain and simple. That's how the jury saw it as well.

Running away or repositioning? You don't know at the time. Once again I've posted the issue I have with this shoot, the callous disregard by the shooter, and the throwing under the bus of someone who did what we're told good people are supposed to do, stop someone who just shot a guy.
