If we get anything less than Top 4 I will be calling for an audit to stop the steal.
Beat the Warriors on the road and lost to the Knicks at home in the same week... it's a wacky year.
When your two starting guards regularly out-rebound your two starting forwards, you've got a problem. Oh well, I'm not going to sweat it much. It's a rebuilding year.

I wish I was as Zen as you on this.
I hate losing. I especially hate it when it feels we are just being over matched in the physical components of the game. We're undersized from the get go, so we go smaller by playing Forbes and Tre with Primo as a 3, Derrick as a 4?
I would argue that you can't effectively gauge this team's true capabilities until we've seen them play in their most effective positions.
Sick of losing games to tactics you would find down at the local 'Y' with guys just bully balling us, requiring no real basketball intellect to pursue ie. Your constant Obi Toppin post seals in this game, Javale lobs in the Phoenix game.
It's one of the reasons I felt the deck was always stacked against Primo, he has to out perform a position that he shouldn't be playing - currently as a '3' in this team's second unit sets.
Not surprised at this loss. It seems like our energy is always lower at home or against non elite teams lol
The last people that should be taking teams for granted is this spurs team but it seems like they "get up" for the good teams and play meh against the not so great teams. That needs to change.
Good to see Derrick White continue his good play.
Thad Young not getting any minutes? interesting. B/c it was a back to back? unlikely
Knicks shot almost 50% from 3 and out-rebounded us by almost 10. Surprised we were even somewhat close in this game.
With this spurs team, our D needs to be on point every game. We can't outscore anyone but I believe this team has the tools (Mostly) to be great defensively. They just desperately need a backup 5/4 that is better than what we have.
It needs to be a top 3-4 pick, tbh.
lackluster game ... you know its over when you read the preview on how bad RJ Barrett was recently and then he shoots lights out. don'tlike the increasing minutes by Forbes either
wasted a good game by White as well
had to listen to the Knicks broadcast .... sorry Fabricio, but I did not understand a word you were saying
3 of our starting players are not playing in their natural position, hoping that the rest of the team having a chance of playing in their natural position is a tall order. I almost go crazy when I saw Pop rolling out Tre, Forbes, White, Walker and KJ in the warriors game.
We need a proper starting 4 before we talk about backup 4/5
If we keep playing 3,4 or 5 players 6'6 and below, we will keep getting kill by Opp OR. It is not a complex concept to understand
thst is obviously ideal. I still think this team will play itself out of a top 5 pick but hopefully the lottery balls are kind to sa
Darn, I see we lost. I had this game pinned as a pretty big one. I was optimistic if they were to win this one, they were going to turn their season around and compete for the 8th spot the rest of the way, but yeah, now that I've seen they lost at home to the Knicks, I think they're done. It looks like 10th is their ceiling, but most likely they'll stay in the 11th-12th spot.
Which is why I’m routing for losses. We need a true 4 and this draft has some intriguing prospects in the lottery at that position. The other side of that argument is if we are in the running for a top 5 pick Pop likely doesn’t reach 26 wins which means another year of horrible rotations.
Me thinks that as long as Pop is here he sees Keldon as a 4 so even if we can get a "true 4" in the draft we won't.
The old man has gone from never wanting to play small to trying to play as small as he possibly can![]()
What's wrong with the rotations. It's not like walker has out played Forbes.
Just don’t appreciate the small ball and players constantly playing out of position but that is more a product of roster construction than rotations so I stand corrected. At any rate a lottery modern day 4 could solve alot of problems we currently face.
Pop has always had a stupid obsession with small ball that goes back to '06 when he played Michael Finley and Bowen at PF during the Mavs series. It also doesn't help the Warriors have won with their own version of small ball which makes Pop believe playing small ball is feasible. The problem is the Spurs are even more undersized than the Warriors. What the Spurs are doing is what I call micro ball.
The roster wasn't constructed properly which I also put on Pop since he has the final say on any moves that are made.
Pop forgot the most important thing about small ball:
You go small to shoot a lot or 3s
