Yep...Bautista is a big man...6'4", 290. But that doesn't really jibe with Reacher. Reacher is a tall man but not super bulky. He's 6'5" and 250 tops. Travis Kelce would be a better choice to play Reacher.

Avante would not be impressed with this actor playing Reacher.

Sure the guy is tall but can he beat Matthew Boling’s 100-meter sprint of 9.98 seconds? The fastest open high school time ever.

Reacher is only 6'2" in the show. That's taller than Tom "Tattoo" Cruise, but short of Child's 6'5" character. I think the show is good, but there's some odd happenings. When Roscoe is coming out from the other police precinct where her boss was beaten and jailed, he said something to her about foul language. Reacher repeated it to him later, but Reacher wasn't there when he said it. Then when the detective asked Reacher if he was going to put his thumb into someone's eye, this guy wasn't in jail with Reacher to have seen that done and no one spoke to the other guy since he split.

There were a few of those moments. I don't get how much of a bad ass Reacher was against several high speed guys multiple times, but was almost killed by a twerp with a pry bar. Of course no lasting scars.

Ok then Tom Cruise should work just fine.

You cannot look at the Reacher actor and think he's a giant. It's a bit off putting to pretend he is. He's a body builder, sure, but not a giant by a long shot.

It's predictable but all the violence is worth it. Very cliché but so is the book.

Tbh minus some blood, s, and cussing it is very network tv-esque. I still enjoyed it though.
