'Get them ready now': Matt Gaetz and Steve Bannon discuss plan to take over government with 'shock troops'
a plan to use "4,000 shock troops" to take over the jobs of federal government employees.
Bannon has previously said that the so-called "shock troops" need to be prepared prior to Republican control of the executive branch.
Gaetz went on to say that he is pushing to be named as chairman of the House Judiciary Committee.
"I don't need a new committee, I just need a gavel," he said.

Mark Meadows possessed 'insane' blueprint for military seizing ballots after Trump's 2020 defeat
there was a blueprint for members of the National Guard and U.S. Marshals to take control of the U.S. election system following former President Donald Trump's defeat.
Meadows had provided the committee with an email containing a 38-page PowerPoint slideshow led
"Election Fraud, Foreign Interference & Options for 6 JAN."
National Guard in each state would be federalized to count only "legitimate" paper ballots.
Meanwhile, U.S. Marshals would be tasked with providing a "protective perimeter around the locations."
Other recommendations include declaring a national security emergency.
All electronic votes would be declared invalid under the plan and
NASA astronaut Sid Gutierrez was slated to lead the task force.
The slideshow is dated Jan. 5, 2021,

Explicit woman-hating
'Not what the founders wrote!' Fox host fumes after Biden says 'all women and men' are equal at democracy summit
"We hold these truths to be self-evident," said Biden.
"That all women and men are endowed by their creator with certain inalienable rights,
But Fox News Primetime's Tammy Bruce took particular offense at Biden's insertion of "women" into the speech.
"You notice how he added women and men are created equal," she said.
"Not just men. It matters, right, that's not what the founders wrote.
Apparently the sacred words of our founders weren’t inclusive enough for Sleepy Joe."

Chief of Wisconsin GOP's election review blasted for effort to arrest mayor of Madison
Former Supreme Court Justice Michael Gableman
Gableman, who is reviewing the election on behalf of Speaker Robin Vos and other Assembly Republicans, has filed a pe ion in Waukesha County Circuit Court that would enable Ramirez
to have the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office travel to Madison and Green Bay,
arrest the mayors and detain them in the county jail in order to force them to testify about the election.

McConnell: No legislative agenda for 2022 midterms
Mitch McConnell has told colleagues and donors Senate Republicans won't release a legislative agenda before next year's midterms, according to people who've attended private meetings with the minority leader.
Why it matters: Every midterm cycle, there are Republican donors and operatives who argue the party should release a positive, pro-active governing outline around which candidates can rally. McConnell adamantly rejects this idea, preferring to skewer Democrats for their perceived failures.

This is what he GOP really boils down to these days, tbh... "owning the libs" has overtaken any substantive policy position/proposal.
It's the modern version of "We've tried nothing and we're all out of ideas"...
The 2020 GOP platform foreshadowed this. None.
They didn't want to tie the great man's hands.
I think Joe is pretty conservative. This is why I voted for him. I've said so before. I don't know why you would say "suddenly think".
Also, the rest of your post makes no sense. It's like you're having an internal dialogue.
I said liberals aren't notorious Jesus followers. You've disagreed by using Dems.
I said not all Dems are liberals. You offered up Joe Biden who you claim is more conservative but then I was referring to liberals, not just Dems. Joe isn't liberal.
Maybe try again, or don't.
You can pretend all you like. Using the "compensating for size" argument is something women do to men, it's not something men do to men. Why would you care about another man's ?
(cue SR21's mad search to find a gotheem quote from me)
As if the Dems didn't spend 2 years, even ignoring COVID onset, to try to have Trump removed from office multiple times.![]()
And yet, they had a legislative agenda.
"ignoring"
Repugs
When in power, cut taxes for the oligarchy (see them doing it right after getting power 2001 and 2017)
... behind closed doors: implement Bannon's "destruction of the administrative state" (to enrich their bribers while sickening, killing Americans)
When out of power, obstruct every attempt of the "illegit opposition" Dems to govern
Financed by Capitalist oligarchy, the Repugs are within a few years of total fascism, say Jan 2025, not by doing anything illegal. Repugs are realized that their Bad Faith "coup d'etat" is unstoppable.
The Dems are guilty in feckless silence. Biden and the Dems will not expose the blatant, in-your-face Repug takeover strategy towards fascism.

That's not even true at all. Caring about size is something women do for men, noticing compensation is just noticing compensation
it's telling that the worst insult DMC can think of is calling someone a w
man. No wonder he has to compensate.
Trump demands undermine unity of GOP leaders
The main source of division between the two top Republicans in Congress is their contrasting relationships with former President Trump,
whose day-to-day comments on events in Washington have a major influence over the GOP.

As deaths mount in Republican counties, party leaders find advantage in letting them continue

More Missouri Health Departments Stop COVID Services After Threats From AG Eric Schmitt
Attorney General Eric Schmitt threatened legal action if they were to continue.
At least six health departments issued statements Thursday night saying they would
halt all COVID-related work, including case investigations, contact tracing, quarantine directives, and public announcement of the number of cases and deaths.
Agencies in Stoddard, Pemiscot, New Madrid, Scott, Dunklin, and Laclede Counties were included, according to The Kansas City Star.
threatening legal action if they didn't obey a ruling made the previous month by Cole County Circuit Judge Daniel Green that banned COVID regulations and health orders from local health departments,
The attorney general on Wednesday also urged parents to report districts with mask and quarantine rules to his office.

We agree that Joe isn't very liberal and actually kind of conservative.
You seldom make your own points clear, thanks for unpacking this one a little bit.![]()
BTW, why did you vote for Obama over McCain?
Certainly not because Obama was more conservative, did you have a beef with McCain?
Trump s have decided any number of COVID deaths is acceptable.
They trigger the Dems, so they can't be bad, right?
That actually implies they had a legislative agenda... not to mention they were first in line to vote for the COVID relief that orangina sent out...
It's not very difficult to see where Dems stand in policy like healthcare, immigration, etc. You might not like where they stand, but it's not difficult to see it.
The agenda was to do no legislation, only to try to stymie the WH. What you're talking about is commonplace politics for "both sides". I see where the dems claim to stand. That's the problem with the dems, they aren't cohesive enough to do anything about their convictions. Enough of them are career politicians who would rather salve the beltway relationships than make any real changes. They had the WH and the majority in both the house and senate. What did they do? Then the cons uents have the gall to claim "if we only had 4 more years we could blah blah on gun control, or abortion, or Gay rights, or immigration, or minimum wage, or the environment". Still, nothing. WH23 showed it was likely worse.
How's the gun control thing doing? How about federal minimum wage hike? What do they have to show? I voted for Biden because Trump was too much of a showman, not really suited for leadership, too self centered and borderline psychotic. I have to admit though that the dems haven't provided anything but a relief from seeing Trump.

I never thought McCain would be a good leader on a world stage. I didn't trust him to be honest, thought he built his maverick reputation for selfish reasons. However I was more concerned about Sarah Palin. Anyone who would pick her as a running mate wasn't right in the head, and I am pretty sure John didn't have a lot to do with it. I thought Obama seemed like a good person IRL. I thought other leaders might feel that way as well. John would have been a international disaster, probably would have bombed Hanoi.
