I think we have equal odds for a 30pt blowout L, too.

A wk or two ago I would have said play up to the compe ion was the most likely.

Probably another ouchie. But that’s alright, I just want to see them play better than that dismal game against the Hornets.

    Go Spurs Go!!

I wonder how many blocks Gobert will get on our guard rotation that can't finish for

    - After the Charlotte drubbing, Hornets moved up to the number #1 spot, in a tie with PPG at 115.6. The team they tied with, Utah.

    - Utah leads the league in 3PTA per game at a whopping 42.4. They could hoist 50+ tonight if we see a Charlotte-type game commitment on the defensive end.

    - Utah also has a PPG differential of 11.5, second to GS at 11.6, (Despite losing 2 additional games). The third best? Phoenix at 6.5.

Utah, if healthy, is my pick to make it out of the west this year.

Utah is as always a fools gold regular season team IMHO. Gobert is dominant during the RS but routinely gets played off the floor in the playoffs when teams can gameplan against him. Mitc is also not a true superstar and their role players are solid but I'm not trusting them in a 7 game series. I think they will flame out again in the 2nd round.

Utah also had an elite differential last year but that didn't matter. Clippers were running Batum at C and Jazz couldn't capitalize on it they got embarrassed and exposed and haven't really made any significant changes

Definitely valid points but people were saying the same thing about the Spurs in the early noughties.

Utah will be better for the experience I feel. Guess time will tell.

I don't so much think it's game planning against them. It's that Gobert is not capable of punishing a team that goes full on small-ball on him with his offense...

You're not wrong, but people were saying similar things about Milwaukee this time last year. Perhaps this is the right time for Utah to get to the next level.

Jazz, like the Spurs, don't have a superstar and that's why they won't go far in the playoffs.

Karl Malone is a pedophile, and also tried to kill David Robinson.

    John Stockton is anti-vax.

In case you didn't need more reason to beat the Jazz...there you go.

If they have to play GS they are going home in 5 games, maybe even get swept. They will easily play Gobert off the floor with their perimeter attack.
