2. I don't believe there is a center in America. The center in America would be considered the Right in Western Democracies such as Europe, Canada, Australia, New Zealand. What you have right now in America is you have two parties that are on the right economically. The republicans are on the extreme right while the Democrats are on the right. The only thing that really separates the two parties is there view on social issues which is why both parties always play up the social issues around election time.
