We have the 8th slot in the draft at this point with only 2 games back for 4th pick. Realistically, though, I don't see us moving any higher than 6th at best before the ping pong balls do their thing.
Another perfect game. Youngins get run. Spurs lose. More of this, please.
This is our lowest win pct so far this year and we are 9 games under .500, and tied for 10th worst in the western conference

Some guy in here really said Murray has been sucking in the 4th quarter this season... LMFAO! ok bro... Not sure what games u have been watching, but ok...
Murray wasn't good this game, and he definitely needs to attack the basket more and learn to draw fouls... But his leadership is top notch, the guys seem to trust him and he will get better...
Ppl seem to forget even the best players have really bad games... And for a 25 year old guy who was never meant to be a star, running a team for the first time, ur gonna have games like this...no one is looking at Murray as a Duncan, Ginobili,Parker level player... but he can be a solid starter for a championship team and borderline all star...in that context, he has been performing wonderfully and is CLEARLY the best and most important player when it comes to our team's growth and success...he will continue to learn...he seems like a player that gets angry and wants to go harder when he fails rather than sulk and hang his head
Totally agree
People don't realize how much Murray is good for us this year and also clutch in a lot of games, just remember Boston a few days ago...
Don’t agree with your original post but I respect the humility here. Cheers!
Murray sure is still someway off tier 1 player, but if he has one more off season like the last 2, he is gonna be a Monster next season. We might have a steal by extending his contract just b4 he is eligible for Max contract all thanks to NBA leaving him out for all stars and other awards.
Statistically I think we're better than our record shows. Lots of young guys, so, as expected, we're not great in close games...but getting better.
I'd say we finish the year better than we started, but likely still in that bottom couple of play-in seeds in the West.
Oh, and Murray...lock him up for as long as possible. I think he's proving to be a max deal guy. Probably the only one on our roster, tbh. Primo is an INC., but no one else is at the level Murray is at.
Neither outcome would be surprising.
Darn, I want a higher draft pick, but I hate heart-breaking losses like this, especially when the team is trying hard to win like they have been doing most of the season (minus a game here and there where they didn't show up). You know, I'd just like to see them rewarded a little bit when they have a game like this.
Why? So they can have a worse draft pick? Embrace the tank. This team will be better off for the losing now. Winning for the point of having the guys feel better is utterly meaningless in the long arc of improving this team.
They already have a couple of nice wins @GS and @UTA. @MIL is looking better but the Bucks weren't playing well early in the season.
I agree with what you said though. They fought like to get back in that game and it was disappointing to come up just short.
