If you still needed more evidence that Pop is tanking, this should settle it. Two games in a row, the Spurs needed to use their time-outs to extend the game but chose not to. Cleveland had no time-outs. The team had a chance to make a shot and get a steal, but Pop instead had them waste time taking the ball up the court.
Top 3 picks don’t play at the combine though. Spurs will be in shambles.
Start of these 4th Qs… DJ goes to the bench, we allow key players to get hot… Has to change.

Poetl had a great game. It’s unfortunate his talents are being wasted on a lottery team. He could be a legit piece on a championship contender.
it was nip and tuck for awhile but in the end the good guys pulled out the L
Thought the team played well in the 3rd quarter but that Osman three at the end cut down the lead to 2 points. Spurs couldn't get a shot down the stretch and they settled for bad three pointers in the 3 minute mark.
if dejounte keeps this up they are going to have to rename H-E-M to DJM

For 4 quarters i saw a guy not using his talents to the fullest. Too often caught in no mans land on d where he defending no one. Whether on offense or defense - the conviction aint there. Thats my take from watching spurs games. The last month at the least, his play
has deteriorated from what we saw the first couple of months.
Im sure theres stats out there showing he top ten centres of our league.
Murray is growing, but we have to lose to get a player with a little bit loftier ceiling than the guys we have.
Philly tanked and drafted a center #1 overall in like 15 straight drafts before they finally picked Embiid. The tank is the way is has to be. Even better that we lose because we're dumb and not because we are actively trying to lose lol
KBD didn't play enough. He was the only perimeter player who had any chance to help his center out defensively. I know the Spurs are trying to lose games, but they're making Poeltl look bad by not giving him adequate help, and there's no upside to that.

Now practically tied for the 5th worst record. Keep it up Pop. We on a roll at 1-9 over our last 10. *That's* how you get franchise level players.
The good news is weve lost to 4 of those 5 teams so if it comes down to a tiebreaker situation for more ping pong balls, Pop's got us in good shape.

Another great game. Tough play for almost four quarters, then you give it up at the last seconds. Primo got lots of minutes, even though I wasn't too impressed with his play tonight. Tank rolls on.
Yep we got all the stops we should have needed just really bad shooting from the 3 and the line. the buzzer beaters were the difference.
Thats not Pop tanking, that's Pop being absolute at late game management.
Great tanking job down the stretch. Not sure if it was intended, though ...
