I know a number of people with Hispanic last names who consider themselves "White" and put down Caucasian on anything that asks for this designation (which is not so much anymore). And damn straight they can consider themselves White. , they are a lot whiter than me because my grandma is hispanic. San Antonio is a melting pot and some families with heavily Caucasian backgrounds dont do anything cultural associated with hispanic culture, ... Quinceanera... they wont even do a pinata at a birthday...
