Glad to see DJ resting. At 25, he's already getting too long in the tooth be playing so many games at this point.

Keldon just snubbed the out of Cacok from a high five. He blatantly went passed him. Locker room drama?

Don't know why superstars wouldn't want to come to SA. Literally no pressure/pushback from the media. Easy damn money.

No chance. Pop wants that record and this franchise is too prideful to full-on tank. Gonna have to rely on other teams to actually beat us sadly.

he always did that. Even when we were 2nd in the west behind the Dubs and ESPN s only talked about Cleveland, Draymond said he always saw the Spurs as the biggest rival to winning a championship

The nightlife and women in this town are terrible tbh. And this city is extremely quiet/low key for being the 7th largest in the nation. Young millionaire athletes don’t want that.

Yup and did a whole spiel about Manu when they eliminated him in his last playoff series ever.

There’s subtle semi-tanking (where you rest guys an extra game or two here and there) and then there’s full on tanking, where you sit guys a lot and intentionally play your worse players bigger minutes or intentionally play poor lineups. Spurs will never do the latter. They very much are trying to win most of these games. You think Pop wasn’t trying his hardest to win against GS on Tuesday? Or Phoenix last Sunday? Or Chicago before that? Or Memphis before that? Those were ALL close games that we barely lost. We 100% were trying our hardest to win those games. Teams that are full-on tanking don’t do that. Pop wants to win em all.

Pop is semi-tanking. The players are trying to win. Pop is not. He definitely did not try to win against GS. The tank has only been on recently, but Pop is clearly trying to lose more games. Or has he used his Coaching challenge in these close losses?

And that‘s exactly what they should do. Play hard and lose as much as possible to get a good draft pick

It is difficult to believe they are trying to win at GS by playing a undersize 6'6 PF at C and a 6'5 SG at PF with 3 bigs on the bench.

I partly agree with that sentiment but we also had our best scorers on the floor late in the game so I don’t fully buy it

Today’s game is the first game to me that feels like Pop doesn’t give me a . Aside from the resting guys, Miami just went in a 13-3 run and Pop still hasn’t called a timeout. Looks bored in general out there.
