That Mavs deal is ing atrocious for Dallas unless Doncic straight up said get rid of Zinger by any means necessary. Dinwiddie and Bertans will actually make more than Porzingis next year and are both bad players with the same injury as Porzingis.
Collins is pretty much off the table with White gone. I don't see how we could get him now

I think Richardson is expendable if it means signing a key free agent. I don't think he's a bad player.
We got the Detroit pick via Washington in the Hutchison deal.
we are set to have > 35mm in cap even retaining Richardson. I haven’t even seen anywhere that says 22-23 isn’t guaranteed already.
Wow.. Goodluck Drew. I hope a contender will pick him up, a lot of motor and willing to work hard.
Watch him sign with the Bucks and get a ring.
I'm convinced they did that to Thad so he'd miss the games played marker on his contract to make him easier to trade.
Spurs Trades:
Received:
- Goran Dragic
- Tomas Satoransky
- Josh Richardson
- Romeo Langford
- Toronto 2022 1st
- Celtics 2022 1st
- Multiple Future 2nd
Sent:
- Derrick White
- Thaddeus Young
- Drew Eubanks
- Juan Hernangomez
- Detroit 2022 2nd
I think there's a place in the league for Eubanks, I really do. I mean, it's as a 3rd string banger, but he's a willing player and a good bench guy.
Yup. That was sharp contract evaluation. They gave him a burst at the beginning to put up stats, then spot, irregular minutes just to show he wasn’t injured.

Looks like conflicting reports. I think the show I was listening to said $4M was guaranteed. Hoopshype shows 2022-23 being fully guaranteed, while Shamsports doesn't show any salary for him next year at all.

Now I'm just confused.
The Shamsports numbers show just under $24M of cap space before today's trades, assuming all cap holds are renounced and Zollins's contract is fully guaranteed. If Richardson's salary is or becomes fully guaranteed (if he's not an expiring after all), that should drop slightly because Langford + Richardson make a bit more next year than White.
Forgot the 2028 BOS pick swap
I'm not sure why people think there was any interest in John Collins for the Spurs, especially when it's very clear they are dumping long-term salary. Collins is expensive for a guy not even in the All-Star conversation and isn't fitting on a playoff-capable team already. There are far too many questions about character and fit, not to mention what the Spurs are actually trying to accomplish in the next 3-5 years. On no level does John Collins make sense whatsoever.

I'm surprised Memphis sat on their 3 FRPs instead of making one more big move. It's a golden chance for them this year.
As far as I know, they only got one second in this flurry - - the meh 2027 second from Utah.
Wow that trade is almost as moronic as Sacramento's.
Might end up a good pick when Mitc bolts from Kolob.
completely wrong evaluation. He fits better on this team than any other PF. The character issues are only rumors, even Hawks fans will tell you they ain't true. And no Collins is not expensive for his production. He earns Jeramie Grant type money, not the max
Damn would have loved to have gotten him draft night. Oh well. Still pretty happy with how this trade deadline played out.
Spurs just traded their best PNR guard in Derrick. As much assists Murray makes, they're more mechanical(?) and not like the Tre/CP3 above-the-rim passes that Collins like. That's my reservation on Collins as the main guy. He's more of a very good 2nd/3rd option. Spurs still need that go-to scorer. It could be a postup PF/C or a Ja Morant type athletic guard.
nba champ, ask to Bryn.
