Last game before the week-long All-Star break. OKC is horrible, currently owning the second worst record in the West, only behind the tanking Rockets. They’ve lost 12 of their last 16. Lu Dort remains OUT for them. Should be an easy victory.

It‘s gon be really hard for this Team to suck enough to stay in the bottom 7. LeBron is already making up another one of his fake injuries cause he‘s tired of losing. Spurs really need to drop some games, so they don’t catch teams that are ahead

It will take a lot of skill to lose this game. At least maybe we get to see Josh and Langford. Spurs by 22 pts.

Tari Eason is in my top four or five guys in the draft, and he's supposed to go in the middle of the round. I don't really care if they get him at 5 or 12 or even have to trade 15 and 18 to move up for him. If even after all of the trades, the team is still good enough to make the playoffs, so be it.

Seen some tweets lately saying he’ll likely move into the late lottery after the season he’s having. I like him a lot too, and he’d be a nice consolation prize, but I would still much rather have a top-5 pick.

There's a LOT of movement coming up ahead. The tournament hasn't even happened, much less draft camps, etc.

It's astounding how awful OKC still is after so many draft picks. Giddey is good, but they've been complete for a while with their picks. They even traded specifically for Pokushevski in 2020 and he's been awful, too.

No SGA for OKC means we win.

    I don't think anyone thinks he's a savior.

I can't imagine Richardson getting the Thad Young treatment. If the goal is to win games no matter what he probably makes sense as a starter, but I don't really want that to happen.

Yep. It's the main reason I wanted to "sell high" on DJ earlier in the season - the Spurs, with him at least, will never be truly bad enough to secure a top pick, DJ raises the floor too hard (not like that's a bad thing at all, just bad for the Spurs in this context). We'll have to bank on some extreme ping pong luck most likely, and of course, for DJ to continue his rise into s om.

We'll see how it goes, I'm cautiously optimistic, but anxious about the draft...

It sucks to win when tanking

I’d say put Spurs’ good lineup in the 1st minutes of 1st and 3rd qtrs, and close with the bench. Treat it like Summer Camp. Is there penalty for waving the white flag? Spurs fans rather see them tank and get closer to top 5 pick, which can address the concerns on the lineup, than continue winning marginally and be stuck in limbo mediocrity.

Selling Murray to get a top pick when Murray already is better than a top pick is really weird.

I'm feeling BatManuish levels of optimism to win tonight's game.
