DJ Murray is an elite star. I want to take a moment in the lead up to DJ's first All Star game to recognize the progress Murray has made and the talent, discipline, hard work, and confidence it took.

Man I'm so proud of DJ, great job!

Last game before the break then not playing again until the 25th... Wonder whether Pop will holdover the newcomers until post ASB?

Tre J is now a confirmed out.

Real question is whether or not we see Richardson
I'm pretty sure he's playing since Tre Jones is out

Yep. It's the main reason I wanted to "sell high" on DJ earlier in the season - the Spurs, with him at least, will never be truly bad enough to secure a top pick, DJ raises the floor too hard (not like that's a bad thing at all, just bad for the Spurs in this context). We'll have to bank on some extreme ping pong luck most likely, and of course, for DJ to continue his rise into s om.

We'll see how it goes, I'm cautiously optimistic, but anxious about the draft...
I really wonder what kinda stuff you are smoking to think trading DJ is a good idea

I saw that Richardson will have jersey #7, but has anyone seen what number Langford will wear? I see he wore #45 with the Celtics in his first two seasons and #9 this year. Obviously #9 is out so I'd expect to see #45, but I haven't seen anything official yet.

According to Spurs press release, he will wear #35.

I'm feeling BatManuish levels of optimism to win tonight's game.
You’re on the right side of history tonight tbh.

Conservatives claim victimization and cancel culture while trying to shred education and cut vital parts of the curriculum. Story at eleven.

Another pla ude of wisdom from our favorite resident political commentator in the sports world

“The thing for me being a white person, looking at our country … as much as our community of color has been oppressed and denigrated and so on and so forth ... those are the people that tried to save this damn country from itself. It’s just ironic to me every time we take steps forward, we get the backlash.”
The banality of that quote is about as effective as coach's performance as HC these last three seasons.

Yeah, no . Conservatives can't take the modern world, so they try to ban and burn everything like a bunch of Nazis.

Back to basketball, This should be an easy win especially without SGA who usually kills the Spurs. Giddey last two games 11-12-10 and 28-11-12

29 other teams have to settle on just having a basketball coach. The Spurs have been lucky enough to have a thought leader hold the reigns for a quarter-century. Pop's on his way to being the winningest coach in NBA history, but that's nothing in comparison to the difference he's made off the court. Hopefully when he finally retires, he can stick around to give his thoughts on current events. We need his guidance now more than ever.

It should be. But did you forget the Spurs already lost to the worst team in the league while they had half their roster out? There are no such thing as "easy wins" for a team that's 14 games under .500

Yes, and also, those darn conservatives keep banning people from Twitter and other social media so their opinions can’t be heard!

    No wait.

There’s plenty to go around, so pretending to be holier than thou only means you’re full of crap.

But back to the subject, GO SPURS GO!

Damn...that's actually shots fired by Pop. But he's not wrong.

I'm tired of our young guys like Walker or (now traded) White just showing up whenever they felt like it.
