Here in Virginia, the Racial Integrity Act defined a person as legally "colored" (to include naive americans) for classification and legal purposes if the individual had any non-white ancestry.

However, the Pocahontas Clause (or Pocahontas Exception) allowed people with claims of less than 1/16th American Indian ancestry to still be considered white.

So are you colored or are you invoking the Pocahontas Clause white?
