Don’t agree with lucking out though. The spurs knew what skills they want to develop and draft the right players and develop them properly. Parker, ginobili and Kawhi were clearly targeted picks. Dejounte being this good, being drafted as a late first rounder (along with Derrick white) is nothing short of amazing. Vassell seems to be an incredible pick at that position as well.
Right, and I think they will rebuild fully and be contenders in a few years. It's hard to argue with a track record like the Spurs have, but Horry is bent on doing it with his claim that they will never be relevant again.
