Marco. Not even a discussion. Can’t wait till we resign Dougie for double his current contract LOL
Which one do you pick up if they are the last two in a pickup game..

I have the same issue.. but seeing how similar the two are, i pondered the effectiveness of the two.. Marco was clutch but played no defense.. McDermott is a better shooter/Defender/slasher/Dunker.. I do also recognize McDermott does not have Duncan/Manu/ Parker on the roster..
Didn’t even like Belinelli but he was usually clutch. I’ll take him.
McDermott is a better scorer in every way including 3pt shooting.
Neither can play D at all.
Marco played on a le team for us so that’s nice.
McBuckets is my pick
I’d take McDermott. I think he’d look much better for the Spurs coming off the bench, which is his normal role. It works against him that he has to start. Beli always came off the bench.
I actually like McD’s slashing and deceptive quickness to the basket, plus his long stretched layup. Beli had better movement without the ball and foul baiting people for and1. I’d take McD.
Belli ,and hes cheaper
Big Balls Beli.
Thing is we paid him starter money so it must have been PATFO saw more in him at signing. 3yr/42mm was always a stretch but even worse for a 6th man.
2014 Marco? I might lean towards a young version of him. 2018-2019 Marco...no thanks. I might even choose Bryn Fvcking Forbes over the washed up version of Belli.
McDermott if we are not factoring in salary
McDermott. He's six years younger.
Marco's stellar Bruce level defense makes him hard to pass up, but goin with Dougie
