Ukraine invaded under Obama's and Brandon's administrations. Not Trump's.

Putin taking a wet on Brandon's sanctions as we speak, while Brandon does nada. Look at Brandon going toe to toe with Putin
    The sanctions are not bullets.
They take time and are slow death.

But impatient children want to shoot or run immediately when there are hundreds of other solutions.
None of which will be good for Russia. Putin is getting old. He wants to die saying he gave it a go I guess.

Lol at you idiots arguing whether this is Trump or Biden’s fault as if Putin hasn’t been planning this invasion for decades .

Putin has a vision of one mother Russia — a return to the USSR that is run by one man. The minute Ukraine gained their independence in 1991, he knew he was going to get it back someday, at any means necessary. He’s using this Ukraine & NATO as an excuse but this has been his plan since forever.

He probably didn’t expect it to be this soon, but the US having a ing demented geriatric skeleton of a Commander in Chief in Office right now definitely has China and Russia licking their lips rabidly. We’ve never appeared weaker and they’re making moves. China will no doubt invade Taiwan now. Gotta strike while the iron is hot, as they say.

Biden and Trump can both get ed for all I care. I hate the American political two-party system and the “options” it gives us. It’s a disaster, always has been. Just like George Washington warned us it would be. But that’s irrelevant now.
Team Red doesn't care about history. They don't even care about Ukraine. They will grasp to any straw that makes Team Blue look bad. Just look how quickly they abandoned isolationism and non-interventionism...

Most people that been looking at this conflict since ~2014 know all this. Trump s still severely butthurt that this old man kicked the living out of their president to the curb. Nothing else.

So you would have suggested what? What president would you have had in office pick anyone and tell us what he/she would have done.

    fk everything...

    And totally disagree with China.
They got skins in the game.
Their economy is much more stable and Im pretty sure they never wanted this.
They want the slow game approach, it works without drastic risk.

Also, America only standing for their interests isn't new either. Don't forget this country sit out WWII until Pearl Harbor. We went to the Middle East strictly for the oil.

When we went to these remote countries to "project power", like Vietnam, boomers got bent over and their asses kicked. Pretty embarrassing, tbh

We were all in on Europe in WWII. We had already converted a huge number of factories into arms production and were supplying GB and allies in Europe. But it was absolutely in our self interest to see Europe survive. We have made some military forays that really did not benefit us in any way other than to say "hey, we are the good guys..." but we had actually let the whole mess get out of control in the first place.

Our strength is supposed to be self criticism and attempt to correct it. But since the election of Trump I dont see this as admirable. The total dishonesty is off the charts imo. The need for revenge like some bratty child is concerning.

why I even type this... Im out.

We were making a buck, per the usual bads...

American public opinion was hostile to the Axis, but how much aid to give the Allies was controversial. The United States returned to its typical isolationist foreign policy after the First World War and President Woodrow Wilson's failure to have the Treaty of Versailles ratified. Although President Franklin D. Roosevelt personally favored a more assertive foreign policy, his administration remained committed to isolationism during the 1930s to ensure congressional support for the New Deal, and allowed Congress to pass the Neutrality Acts. As a result, the United States played no role in the Second Italo-Ethiopian War and the Spanish Civil War. After the German invasion of Poland and the beginning of the war in September 1939, Congress allowed foreign countries to purchase war materiel from the United States on a "cash-and-carry" basis, but assistance to the United Kingdom was still limited by British hard currency shortages and the Johnson Act, and President Roosevelt's military advisers believed that the Allied Powers would be defeated and that US military assets should be focused on defending the Western Hemisphere.

By 1940 the US, while still neutral, was becoming the "Arsenal of Democracy" for the Allies, supplying money and war materials. Prime Minister Winston Churchill and President Roosevelt agreed to exchange 50 US destroyers for 99-year-leases to British military bases in Newfoundland and the Caribbean. The sudden defeat of France in spring 1940 caused the nation to begin to expand its armed forces, including the first peacetime draft. In preparation for expected German aggression against the Soviet Union, negotiations for better diplomatic relations began between Undersecretary of State Sumner Welles and Soviet Ambassador to the United States Konstantin Umansky. After the German invasion of the Soviet Union in June 1941, America began sending Lend Lease aid to the Soviet Union as well as Britain and China. Although President Franklin D. Roosevelt's advisers warned that the Soviet Union would collapse from the Nazi advance within weeks, he barred Congress from blocking aid to the Soviet Union on the advice of Harry Hopkins. In August 1941, President Roosevelt and Prime Minister Churchill met aboard the USS Augusta at Naval Station Argentia in Placentia Bay, Newfoundland, and produced the Atlantic Charter outlining mutual aims for a postwar liberalized international system.

I don’t watch cable news except if something happens quickly on the ground.
The cable news networks have the most biased worst analysis on any problem that involves time and background.
Why do you even watch any of it?

Im sorry to disappoint you. But situations like this can bring a country together, before Trump anyways.
So this could lead to another term for the old white guy you dont like BECAUSE, he beat your false prophet by default.
Your man beat himself. It was that bad. It really was. Oh he could bring out the worst in people, but the ego on the man pushed the whole farce out by 8 million. And now he continues to play games with the red team which will make it even worse for you. The blue team might eventually get a REAL liberal in.
No, no, peeg. We're divided because Trump made President, not Clinton. And we're staying dividedPERIOD

"Now a few important, very important words for those who may be tempted to intervene in ongoing events from the outside," Putin said. "Whoever tries to interfere with us, and even more so to create threats to our country, to our people, should know that Russia's response will be immediate and will lead you to such consequences as you have never experienced in your history. We are ready for any development of events. All necessary decisions in this regard have been made. I hope that I will be heard."

Protection from who? Who is "we"? You can't even afford gas. You made up this random protection narrative because you keep getting smoked on the Ukraine topic.
