Probably so. I still think he's the least ready to fill an important role.
Spurs finally get on sports center.
Probably so. I still think he's the least ready to fill an important role.
Really? Tre almost had a triple-double against the Heat as the starting PG. Tre only needs to extend his shots to 3pt range which I don’t doubt they’ll have him work on next off season. Arguably the best true PG the Spurs have.
Just my thought dude. I don't see it. I see what you mean but I just don't think he's ever going to have the complete game.
Wrong. It's Primo. And it's a ing embarrassment he's spent this season not getting better in Austin.
I think you’re right. Maybe last season’s opener in December? That was a win.
He also played in 32 NBA games averaging 15mins
Jakob does not care being posterized ... he is not fazed by it ... I'd rather have him posterized that him restraining himself from going for a block
Yeah tough to fault a guy for playing defense. Also, he seems to be dunking alot more these days.
I'm starting to feel the same way. Like many people here, I wanted him to get "real NBA experience" and selfishly just wanted to watch him play more against the best compe ion.
But the result is that he is only getting 15 MPG when he could be getting 30 MPG in Austin, and he's mostly playing off ball instead of leading the action. He's shown occasional flashes, but it's pretty obvious that he is not ready at this point to come in and command the game...so is being in San Antonio REALLY helping his development?
Hard to say. Certainly a much higher level of compe ion by staying on the varsity squad, but yeah, I see the advantage of being "the guy". Heck, we're seeing that impact of being the go-to guy on players like Murray now that DeRozan is gone. But to your point, Murray certainly wasn't ready to take that leap early on in his career.
And, at least Murray had that centerpiece experience in college. Primo didn't even have that.
I hope the NBA never tries to call plays like that offensive fouls. that. That was dunk of the year.
I think we're splitting hairs here. Primo should get a bigger pass than Tre in my opinion. (Younger and a rookie.)
Nah, bigs get the short end of the stick just trying to depend. That leaning elbow on the face could’ve easily injured Poeltl. Poeltl should’ve sold it grasping his face and got the offensive instead.
Com'on man, injured him?
LOL. its OK. Jakob got dunked on. It happens to all shot blockers. You don't need to make this weak ass argument. God damn.
